We use advanced AI Vision to "look" at your photos. SortSell identifies the item (e.g., "1990s Chicago Bulls Hat" or "Canon AE-1 Camera"), researches its market value, and generates a listing.

Depending on which mode you choose, we either prepare an eBay listing for review or live publishing or generate a Printable Price Tag for your garage sale.

• Hobbyist (Free): Perfect for casual sellers. You get 30 items per month and a review-first listing workflow.
• Professional ($29/mo): For volume sellers. You get 500 items per month, priority support, and live publishing with representative sample checks and automatic exception holds.
• Power Seller ($99/mo): Unlimited volume for serious businesses.

When you use Garage Sale Mode, we don't send anything to eBay. Instead, we generate a PDF file formatted for standard 8.5x11" paper.

Each tag includes the item name, a fair "garage sale price" (usually lower than online retail), and an optional QR code. By default the QR code carries the item name and price; a verified item link can be used when the batch includes one.

After your batch processes, go to the Sales page. Find your Garage Sale batch and click "Print Tags". This opens a PDF you can print on any home printer. Cut them out with scissors and tape them to your items!

SortSell connects through eBay's OAuth authorization flow, which means we never see or store your eBay password.

You grant us a limited "token" to create listings. You can revoke this access at any time from your eBay account settings.

No problem! You can create one for free.

1. Go to the eBay Registration Page.
2. Choose "Business Account" if you plan to sell regularly, or "Personal" for casual selling.
3. Follow the prompts to verify your identity and link a bank account for payouts.

Once your account is active, come back to SortSell settings and click "Connect eBay".

eBay requires every listing to have rules for Shipping, Payment, and Returns. Instead of typing these for every single item, you create "Profiles" in your SortSell Settings.

We recommend using our "One-Click Setup" in Settings to create standard policies (Free Shipping, 30-Day Returns) automatically.

The most common reasons are:

• eBay Connection Expired: Go to Settings and click "Reconnect eBay".
• Missing Policies: You haven't selected a Shipping or Return policy in the Dashboard configuration.
• Daily Limit: New eBay accounts often have a limit (e.g., 10 items/month). If you hit this limit, eBay will reject new listings until you call them to raise it.
